The Dream

The Water Lot originally started out as a dream of mine on a much smaller scale, I wanted to have a small mobile horse trailer to sell fresh brewed iced tea at outdoor events. But, when this iconic A-Frame building came for sale in Hereford, TX, I had to leap at the chance to buy the building and pursue my dream of opening a coffee and tea shop!

 

Leap of Faith

It truly was a Leap of Faith! With the love and encouragement from family and friends, The Water Lot was created. Rooted in the Western way of life the name “The Water Lot,”  was acquired because cattle and horses come into pens, often called “the water lot,” to drink from the windmills pumping water. Water is the foundation for every delicious beverage we make and therefore we want our customers to gather at The Water Lot. We take pride in using purified water in every beverage we make!

 

The Menu

Our menu is based on fresh brewed iced tea, coffee, and fountain drinks. But, as we grew, so did our creative love for making delicious drinks! Staying true to our Panhandle heritage, we created and named some of our favorite lattes and fountain drink combinations after historical landmarks, the Comanche Indians native to the Panhandle, and tumbleweeds. Take a look at our Windmill Soda and Windmill Lattes menus for fun drinks and coffee to try out! We also created yummy energy drinks using Red Bull as our base for the energy. Frappes and Smoothies remain a delightful staple on our menu. We can’t forget about the fruit! Our Fruit Infusions are full of oranges, lemons, limes, blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, and cherries infused with your choice of water or any of the fresh brewed iced teas! As you can see we are Proud to offer a wide variety of quality beverages for everyone!
